How Does the Earthtorch® work?
The earthtorch works just like any other flashlight. When you receive the earthtorch® it will be ready to use; simply press the on/off button, it's that simple. We recommend that you charge it initially for 7-8 hours prior to the first use. Charging is as simple as placing the flashlight in direct sunlight, this can be easily done by placing it on your window sill or anywhere the flashlight will have exposure to the sun.

The Earthtorch's^TM advanced solar panel absorbs energy from the sun (did we mention this was free) and converts it to light that is always ready for you to use.

Why should I buy and earthtorch® and not a 'shake' or 'battery powered' flashlight?
The earthtorch® pays for itself and is the easiest of all flashlights to use. No shaking ever and no batteries ever (think of all the money you will save on batteries). Not to mention if you ever need a flashlight in an emergency you have one on hand. If batteries aren't available do not dismay, the solar powered flashlight will hold its charge for over 45 days. This means you could charge it one day for 8 hours and use it months later with no worries. Additionally, you don't have to shake this flashlight every 5 minutes to have light, you can use this flashlight for hours without shaking or batteries and the next day just let it sit in the sun and you are good for another 7 hours.This is the last flashlight you will ever need.

Why get a solar powered flashlight since you don't need it when the sun is shining?
Believe it or not, we get this one a lot. Similar to the reason why you don't have to be attached to the gasoline pump to drive a gas powered car, the sun doesn't need to be shining when you use a solar powered flashlight. The flashlight stores energy from the sun in a rechargeable Nicad battery that powers the LEDs, even in the dark.

Is it safe to make a purchase online?
The security of our customers information and transactions is a top priority at Midnight Sun Innovations LLC. We use PayPal to process our transactions for your protection. PayPal uses the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available)

Do I have to pay sales tax?
No, only orders from the state of Florida are required to pay sales tax.

Do you give discounts on large orders?
We do. For orders over $500 - 10%, orders over $1,000 - 20%. Please call or e-mail us first at customerservice@earthtorch.com so we can discuss the details of your order.

What credit cards do you accept?
All the usual suspects: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card.

Do you take checks or money orders?
Yes, just send us an e-mail at customerservice@earthtorch.com requesting which items you would like, please include the model numbers and quantity as well as where you would like the items shipped. We will then send you an e-mail with the address for you to send the check or money order. We will send the merchandise as soon as we receive the check/money order. You should receive the items within 5 days of us receiving the check/money order.

Do you handle purchase orders?
We can, but please send us an email at customerservice@earthtorch.com to make those arrangements.

Do you have an actual store we can visit?
We are an online store only for the time being. If business continues to grow, who knows!

Can you send me a catalog?
We do not offer a mail order catalog at this time, but maybe in the near future.
